All Rapid staff receive a comprehensive training induction programme.

Rapid is very pleased to now have its own dedicated health and safety training suite, where we can ensure that our staff receive their comprehensive training.

For some of our staff, it will be the first time that they have worked in a food based working environment and we see it is crucially important that all of our workers have a full understanding of the major principles of food hygiene.

Each employee, as well as the induction, is given a booklet to keep, that summarises the main issues.

There are three booklets:

  • Health and Safety
  • Food Safety
  • Manual Handling

For many customers, there was concern that workers, for whom English was not their first language, fully understood the health and safety training.

Rapid have subsequently translated all of our training manuals into the relevant languages. Furthermore, translators can be used if needed, to conduct our training sessions.

The training manuals are available in:

  • Polish
  • Lithuanian
  • Russian
  • Portuguese

Our training programme can be designed to fit in with our customer’s specific needs and staff are provided with PPE .
